Derek, Series 2, Kev in caravan outtakes.
The numerous takes see Kev (Earl) – can of Special Brew in-hand – attempting to give the cameras crew a guided tour of his caravan while Derek (Gervais) watches on from one of the side-sofas.
Trouble is, Earl then goes off-script, delivering improvised line after line of creepy sex talk, each lewd and overly graphic gag drawing that distinctive cackle from his co-star on the couch. In the end, Gervais simply has to leave, telling Earl he can do some cutaways instead.
We’ll never think of a diseased badger the same way again.
